Open doors

More options. Better decisions.

In handball today, connections live in a few people's phone books. Handball Bridge opens up the whole international market, so you choose from a wider pool, with due care.

Today

  • Your own phone book
  • A few agents you know personally
  • The players you happen to hear about

With Handball Bridge

  • More players and more agencies, from other countries too
  • A bigger market where you choose with due care
  • No names until both sides say yes
How it works

Four steps, and at each one you know who sees what.

  1. 1

    Anonymous search

The club describes the player it is looking for.

What is visible at this point: The club's name stays hidden.

  2. 2

    Matching across the whole market

Matching runs daily against verified players and agents, across borders.

What is visible at this point: The club sees only position, age band and level, not names.

  3. 3

    Mutual yes

When both sides are interested, they can accept identification.

What is visible at this point: Names are revealed only now.

  4. 4

    Negotiation room

Offers, counter-offers and documents in one place.

What is visible at this point: The exact salary expectation is never shown automatically.

Illustration: how a club sees a match before the mutual yes.

Frequently asked

What people ask most.

Who sees my data?

By default, no club or other agent: every sensitive field is private. Your private data can be seen by our moderators and by the agent who represents you. When there is a match, the club sees professional details without a name (such as position, age band and league level), and on an approach the player side sees the club's region, league level and the position sought. Names become visible only after mutual identification. There is no public player list, and clubs' searches are visible within the network only as each club decides.

How are users verified?

Registration is open. After registering you choose your role, enter your details and submit a declaration. Verification is based on that declaration and on public sources: our moderators compare the details by hand. We ask for a document only if the moderator considers it necessary. Verification is not a check of permits or licences. The substantive features open once you are verified.

What happens if I don't find the right partner?

Nothing that harms you. Your search is private by default and free during the pilot, and if there is no suitable match, nobody learns anything about you. You can change, pause or close a search at any time, and reactivate it after it expires.

How can I download or delete my data?

In the Privacy section of Settings you can download your data in machine-readable form (JSON) and request the deletion of your account. A moderator processes the request, and you can withdraw it until then; on processing, your personal data is deleted or anonymised in line with the GDPR.

Is Handball Bridge an agency?

No. We are an independent platform: we do not represent players or clubs, we do not negotiate on anyone's behalf, and we are not a party to the agreements between users.
